Cedar Lake Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Cedar Lake Homeowners Association was held, as scheduled, on February 16, 2025 at the Bethel Baptist Church at 4:00PM. Fifteen lots were represented in person with 104 proxies received by and for the Board. Per CLHA By Laws a quorum was present. The financial report was discussed and approved along with the 2025 budget. The Treasurer’s report included a budget worksheet of the Lake dredging project. Board and Association activities were reported including changes to the lake treatment contractor, removal of steps at the picnic area, wildlife activity and lake quality. Topics raised from the floor included trapping for nuisance wildlife, 1099 vendors, filing tax returns and open equity amounts which were reported by the CPA conducting review of financial records. Goose control was discussed, including reports of dead waterfowl and birds around the country with respect to bird flu.

John Wiggins was nominated to fill the vacant Board seat. The nomination was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. If any Cedar Lake Association member would like to request a copy of the minutes please email the Board on our Contact Us page.
