Annual Membership

Assessment/dues are assessed annually, and notices are sent in January. Member payments are then due within 30 days of said notice; late or non-payment are subject to finance charges as established in the Covenants. The assessment is used to maintain common areas, sponsor events and provide for other needs of the Association.

News & Events

The Association sponsors an annual garage sale, bi-annual picnics, and publishes a newsletter to keep our neighborhood connected. Board meetings are generally held monthly on the first Monday of each month, or as needed. The Annual Meeting of the Association is held within the first two months of the year and is preceded by a chili supper for anyone interested in attending. Architectural Policy/Construction Requests

Any exterior home improvement, addition or extension - including fencing - must first be approved by our Board of Directors to ensure your project complies with our covenants. For your convenience, you may submit a construction request on our Contact Us page.

Lake Rules

Cedar Lake is a wonderful asset for boating, fishing, swimming and enjoying the exceptional wildlife of the area. Eagles have made frequent visits to the lake and numerous songbirds, hummingbirds, orioles, bluebirds, cardinals and other species make their home here. Waterfowl abound, and others pass through on their yearly migration.

Additional Recreation

Numerous shopping areas, restaurants, medical facilities, and schools are all within close proximity. The neighborhood lies on the southern boundary of the City of Columbia, near Rockbridge State Park.
