Yearly angler reminder. Per Dept of Conservation recommendations, bass measuring fewer than 12 inches should be harvested. Bass 12 to 15 inches should be released. Bass larger than 15 inches may be harvested or released depending on angler preference. Lake Rules are provided on the Association website.

December 2023Spoonbill paddlefish were harvested from the lake last winter and plans to restock the lake are being pursued.
June 2020In June, the Missouri Department of Conservation conducted a fish survey of Cedar Lake to assess the fish population and overall lake conditions. In general, the lake appeared to be in good condition. Several recommendations were made to establish additional fish populations of certain species and to reduce certain species which are overpopulated. These recommendations are intended to help better manage the lake and keep the fish population healthy and more balanced. Should anyone wish to see a copy, the Board will forward a copy by email.
